After a very long hiatus (archive.org tells me it’s been since December of 2006) I’ve decided to start posting again. We’ll see how long I sustain it.
Why did I stop? In no small part it was because life and work got very busy. My blog software (all very hand crufty stuff) fell over, then the server was rebuilt and I never bothered to rebuild it.
Why did I start again? Because I have things to write. I don’t care if nobody reads them, in fact I would probably prefer if only a few friends read my blog. The act of writing things down is powerful and satisfying enough.
